Elliot was diagnosed with MND at just 19 years of age. He was enjoying his first semester at university and working one day a week at a local financial advisory firm.

The early signs for Elliot that something was wrong were frightening.

Hammond Care have a range of cook books that provide nutritious and appealing meal ideas that cater to an array of dietary or swallowing needs. The books were written in collaboration with a chef, speech pathologist and palliative care specialist and aim to provide practical advice so food can remain a pleasure and a comfort.

People living with MND are often faced with difficult decisions for managing their symptoms and maintaining their quality of life as the disease progresses.

Some of the options people are asked to consider are gastrostomy, genetic testing, assisted ventilation, communication equipment and advanced care planning.
