Marjorie’s Story

Marjorie is a one-of-a-kind, very special person. She started MND NSW back in 1981 (then known as Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Society of Australia) after her husband, Bill, was diagnosed with ALS, the most common form of motor neurone disease (MND).

Margaret’s Story

Margaret has been volunteering with MND NSW for just over 18 years.

In September of 2002, her husband was diagnosed with MND. At first she thought she would have at least a few more years with him but his illness progressed quickly.

Ann’s Story

Ann, from Botany Access, has been raising funds for MND for many years, after her husband John was diagnosed with motor neurone disease in 2002.
