Each year since 1945 the Children’s Book Council of Australia has brought children and books together across Australia through CBCA Book Week. This year is no exception and although some ways of celebrating book week may be a little different, here are some suggestions for how you can be involved.

Marjorie’s Story
Marjorie is a one-of-a-kind, very special person. She started MND NSW back in 1981 (then known as Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Society of Australia) after her husband, Bill, was diagnosed with ALS, the most common form of motor neurone disease (MND).

Margaret’s Story
Margaret has been volunteering with MND NSW for just over 18 years.
In September of 2002, her husband was diagnosed with MND. At first she thought she would have at least a few more years with him but his illness progressed quickly.
