Are you a young carer, or know a young carer who would like to participate in a study being held by Griffith University?

A young carer is someone under age 25 who provides unpaid care or provides support or spends extra time looking after someone who can’t look after themself (eg. family member, friend, community member). We want to learn more about being a young carer in Australia. We want to find out what help there is for young carers and what challenges young carers face. This research is being conducted by researchers at Griffith University and is supported by Arafmi Ltd and Little Dreamers.

You will be asked to take part in a survey which takes about 15-20 minutes to complete.

The research will tell us more about what it is like to be a young carer. The findings will help organisations that help young people like you to provide better support for young carers. As a
thank you for you doing the survey you can go into a draw to win one of four $25 Coles or Kmart store voucher.

If after doing the survey you feel upset and would like to talk to someone, you could contact
