MND Care Practices in Australia: Healthcare Survey

Healthcare professionals who currently provide, or have recently provided, care for people living with MND are invited to take part in a short survey to inform Australia’s first MND Care Guideline.

The National Guideline is being developed by the Health Evidence Synthesis, Recommendations and Impact (HESRI) team at the School of Public Health, Adelaide University. The Guideline will help provide better and more consistent care and support to people living with MND.

This survey aims to understand the knowledge, attitudes, and behaviour of healthcare professionals in MND care in Australia prior to the implementation of the Guideline. It will also identify barriers and facilitators influencing MND care practices. The findings will guide the development of targeted implementation strategies for the Guideline as well as provide a reference point to inform future evaluation activities.

Participation is entirely voluntary, and responses are anonymous. Participants may withdraw at any time before submitting their responses.

Your contribution will help establish an understanding of MND care knowledge, attitudes, and behaviour in Australia, providing an important foundation for the Australian MND Care Guideline implementation and future evaluation.

This is a national and anonymous survey. It should take around 10-15 minutes to complete.

The survey will close on 4 October 2026.
