In the past two years, requests to our FlexEquip equipment service have grown by a whopping 64%.
And in the past financial year alone, FlexEquip has
- Provided 3,849 equipment items to 559 people who needed them.
- Saved families experiencing MND thousands of dollars each, loaning them equipment worth over $5.3 million.
- Received nearly 2,500 new requests for assistive equipment.
- Ensured over 340 people without access to funding for assistive technology got the equipment they needed.
We firmly believe everyone living with MND who needs assistive technology for their everyday activities and maintaining quality of life should receive this in a timely manner. So this Christmas, we're asking for your help to raise enough funds for an additional staff member to join our FlexEquip team. An extra team member is a necessary addition for
- Speeding up equipment delivery and turnaround
- Improving communication with families and health professionals
- Providing more responsive support for urgent equipment needs
- Allowing us to innovate and expand our reach
