On 3 December 2022 we celebrate International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD).

The theme is “Transformative solutions for inclusive development: the role of innovation in fueling an accessible and equitable world.”

IDPwD is an opportunity to acknowledge the contributions and achievements of people with disability across the globe and those of the 4.4 million people with disability living in Australia. We take part in promoting inclusion, understanding and acceptance of people with disability and we strive for inclusivity through the removal of physical, technological and attitudinal barriers.

At MND NSW we are continuously working towards improving the quality of life for people living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) by raising awareness, promoting research and providing services and equipment. We embrace transformative solutions through assistive technology as a way of increasing accessibility and supporting the dignity, rights and well-being of people living with MND.
