From 1 July, the Older Persons Advocacy Network (OPAN) has been engaged to provide free, confidential and independent advocacy support to older people who are receiving, or seeking to receive, Australian Government funded aged care services. see here for more information The service focuses on supporting older people and their representatives to raise and address issues relating to accessing and interacting with Commonwealth funded aged care services.
