Living with MND
MND NSW conducts regular education, information and other events for people living with motor neurone disease, family members, carers and friends. These are usually held in Sydney at the MND NSW Centre in Gladesville or other local venues. Sessions are also scheduled in other areas of NSW and in the ACT.
There is usually no charge to attend an MND NSW education, information or other event for people living with MND. This includes the person with motor neurone disease, family member/s, carer or friend. However, bookings are essential.
Carer Wellness: Introduction to Tai Chi
A FREE 4 week program for carers. Tai Chi is gentle exercise, often described as "meditation in motion," It is low-impact, slow-motion exercise you can do from the comfort of your own home. Song from Tai Chi Australia will lead this program.
MND Upskill: Living and working with MND (Parramatta)
This event is for people living with MND, their informal support network (such as family and friends), and the health and community care professionals.
$20pp for health and community care professionals.
Free for people living with MND and informal carers (family and friends). Registration is essential.
