MND NSW has generously been supplied a delivery van, which will help us get vital assistive equipment to people living with MND as quickly as possible.

Our CEO, Graham Opie, is pleased to announce the delivery van partnership with Open Mobility, who has provided the van.

“Open Mobility, a long-standing supporter and partner of MND NSW, has offered a van to improve our equipment delivery times and service. Open Mobility will also cover running costs for the next year," he said.

"For over 6 years Open Mobility has partnered with MND NSW, providing storage and regional deliveries, and their donation this week is extremely generous. Michael Standley, founder of Open Mobility has always gone the extra mile to support people with MND, and with their assistance, we are very excited to now be able to provide a new level of support to people living with MND.”

MND NSW, and particularly our FlexEquip team, are excited about the newly arrived van, which will supplement our deliveries and help reduce costs, providing timely and efficient delivery of essential equipment. This will help improve the independence and overall quality of life for people living with MND.

The van will be having its first major outing at the Forbes Walk to Defeat MND event on Sunday April 19.

Deliveries will start in Sydney Metro over the coming weeks and in time a Newcastle and Illawarra run will begin.

Thank you Open Mobility for your support!
