virtual cornflower dedication

This Cornflower Blue Day dedicate a virtual cornflower to a loved one who is living with motor neurone disease (MND) or in remembrance of someone who has died.

The blue cornflower (Centaurea Cyanus) was adopted as the national symbol of hope for MND because of its fragile appearance but hardy nature. Like the cornflower, people with MND show remarkable strength in coping with this devastating disease.

By planting a virtual cornflower in our field of blooms you’ll be helping to raise awareness of the needs of people living with MND and their families. The money you donate will help us to advocate on behalf of people with MND, provide equipment including electric wheelchairs, communication devices, electric beds and walking frames to help keep people at home, provide education, workshops and seminars as well as raise funds for research.

We want our virtual cornflower to act as a beacon of hope for anyone who has ever been touched by motor neurone disease-acknowledging the MND community and people living with MND today, as well as to remember those who have died.
