By the end of the day you will know more about

• MND and recent trends in MND research
• the role of MND NSW Family Support Service
• managing physical difficulties in MND and maintaining independence and care at home
• managing speech and swallowing difficulties in MND
• breathing difficulties in MND and how these are managed
• palliative care and its role in supporting people with MND
• planning a program of care for people with MND.

There will also be the opportunity to

• ask questions about MND care
• network with other health and community care professionals
• share experiences on service provision for people with MND.
