You can donate your DNA at the Information Day
The MND DNA Bank has been set up to look for genetic susceptibility to all forms of motor neurone disease. People with MND, their partners, friends and family can contribute samples.
All that is needed is a routine blood and hair sample and, from some people, a cheek swab. If you have previously donated blood to the MND DNA Bank, you do not need to donate again. If you wish to be a donor let us know when you register. Your details will then be passed to the MND DNA Bank so you can be booked in to donate on the day, receive consent forms and other information.
To find out more about the DNA Bank contact Lorel Adams, MND DNA Bank ph. 02 9036 5456 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .
