Carer Day - 11th International Conference on Frontotemporal Dementias (ICFTD)

Running concurrently with the ICFTD 2018 program will be a specialist day focused on issues and challenges for carers. The day is designed to provide insightful presentations that speak to those faced with caring for those with FTD. The program includes:

• Treatment Trial & Research Highlight - Professor Brad Boeve, Mayo Clinic, USA
• Speech/Language Changes: Cathleen Taylor-Rubin - War Memorial Hospital, Australia
• Motor Symptoms: Professor Martin Turner - Oxford University, UK
• The Australian FTD Support Services System - Melissa Kettle, Eastern Cognitive Disorders Clinic, Susan McCarthy, Dementia Australia and Carol Birks, MND Australia.

There will also be updates from World FTD and the International FTD Registry. The Australian FTD Association will discuss the next chapter for FTD in Australia. Further presentations will be confirmed shortly and a full program can be viewed on the website. Please note attendance in this day is available as part of the main delegate registration or as a separate registration. Early bird registration registration of AUD$100 extended until Friday 21 September and then the rate increases to AUD $150. So book early to get the discount.
